2025 Summer Camp
The Red Arrow Robotics Summer Camp is a great opportunity for rising sixth grade students to get introduced to robotics and learn how to design, build, program and compete with robots. This camp will be great for kids who are thinking of joining the Red Arrow Robotics FIRST Tech Challenge teams in the fall and for kids who just want to a fun way to learn about cool stuff during the summer.
The camp runs for two Monday to Friday sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day at the Red Arrow Robotics Build Space, 127 N Broadway, Lowell, MI. Session 1 July 14th-18th and session 2 is July 21st to 25th.
There are 48 total slots, 24 each session, available on a first come-first serve basis. A wait list will be created for each session, if necessary. The camp is intended for children beginning 6th grade in August 2025 to prepare them for the Lowell Middle School robotics team, if they would like to join. Participation in the camp does not obligate students to join the team, and the camp is not a prerequisite to join the team.
Students going into 7th or 8th grade may register for the camp and will be added to the waitlist. These students will be given available camp slots once registration closes on June 13th. This camp is not open to elementary or high school students.
The camp costs $75 per child and includes lunch each day and a camp shirt. A limited number of scholarships are available which can be requested by email.
